Transfusion Safety and Management System

Using BloodTrack Tx on a handheld PDA, the caregiver scans their barcoded ID badge, the patient wristband, the compatibility label, and the blood bag number on the blood units to be transfused. By electronically capturing this key information, Tx is able to check for any discrepancies and warn the caregiver accordingly. Caregivers then have the ability to record vitals, reactions, and volume transfused electronically. All without the need for a wireless infrastructure.
More Features... BloodTrack Tx increases patient safety and decreases the time needed to perform a transfusion by providing electronic checks throughout sample collection, product pick-up and the transfusion itself, ensuring that the right blood units are given to the right patient.
More Benefits... BloodTrack Tx runs on Pocket PC handheld PDAs (which can be provided by Neoteric) in conjunction with a two dimensional (2D) barcoded or RFID wristband (such as the AutoPPI patient information wristband).
